Artist Bio: Robert Rauschenburg

Milton Ernest "Robert" Rauschenberg is an American painter, graphic artist and collagist who created work over the 50 year span from the 1950's to the early 2000's when he passed. Many of his pieces are filled with in depth meanings from his use of colour and its connotations to the positioning of all of the elements onto his surface.
Signs (1970)

Bed (1955)                                                                                                  Sky Garden (1969)

Skyway (1964)
These are but a few of his pieces but these I selected are the ones that I feel have the most meaning behind them. Within signs and skyway I believe that they hold the deepest meanings and they link well to what I want to examine as they are full with different aspect of political importance for the time period in which they were created, If they were to be redone but within the modern society, I feel that people such as Obama and Trump would be in this with other sources such as terrorist elements and or sources like the mars rover or high complexity technology.
